Silvia Rossi

Lead Vocals/Acoustic Guitar

Silvia, our lead/ backing vocalist and acoustic/electric guitar player, has been performing since the age of 9. She has been in the local NJ band circuit for the last 12 years. She began performing solo then branched out performing with local North Jersey bands such as Street Hassle. Her musical style runs the gamut from Rock and Roll, Pop to Dance.  Musical influences include Sheryl Crow, Journey to Lady Gaga, Pink and Taylor Swift . Her natural musical and vocal talent is only surpassed by her visible enthusiasm at performances.

Darlene White

Lead Vocals

Darlene has been singing professionally for 20 years and has shared the stage with legends in the music industry including Chubby Checker, Darlene Love, Artimus of Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Chops Horns, and The Funk Brothers. As a studio musician, she recorded the background vocals for Gloria Gaynor’s latin version of I Will Survive and various background tracks for country music artists.Darlene is best known as the blonde in the legendary Tri-State girl group The Party Dolls where she performed at some of the top venues across the country including the Philadelphia Convention Center, PNC Arts Center, The Taj Mahal, and House of Blues. Additional lead vocal credits include wedding/corporate and club bands from Manhattan to Philadelphia.

Paul Witte

Paul Witte

Lead Guitar

Paul Witte is pleased to join Mid-Life Crisis on lead guitar. Paul’s influences include Eric Clapton, Warren Haynes, Eddie Van Halen and Oscar the Grouch. Paul began playing guitar for money in the early 90s in college and since then has shared the stage with players from Dizzy Gillespie’s band, the Spin Doctors and the Nerds – and they all regret letting him do it. Paul will also happily attend your wedding and sit in with your band – who you paid too much for. Paul continues to grind out classic, current and southern rock with “Millie’s Closet”. When not playing guitar, Paul enjoys cobbling together his own guitars from bits of wire and spare parts – one of which he may be playing tonight 😉

Chuck Traubman

Bass/Backing Vocals

Chuck, our founding member, bassist and backing vocalist, draws his musical influences from seminal talents such as Yes’ Chris Squire and Paul McCartney and like Sir Paul, he is also a lefty. Chuck’s extensive musical background had it’s beginnings performing in numerous high school bands then went on to tour the Northern Florida bar circuit during the mid-1980’s. His musical styles range from Classic/Alternative Rock to Blues. Chuck is musically adept at playing 4 string, 5 string, and 8 string basses. For the last 15 years he has been the driving force behind Mid-Life Crisis and has been instrumental in establishing it’s roots in the Morristown live music scene as well as expanding it to Central and Southern Jersey. Throughout the years, Chuck’s passion for music and live performance has provided great leadership for MLC and continues to present day.

Dominick Velardo

Percussion

Dominick, a bit far off from having his mid-life crisis, has the distinction of being the youngest member of the band. Dominick’s quiet demeanor belies his fierce drum chops. From northern NJ, he has been playing the drums since the age of 9 and credits listening to his father’s music growing up as a catalyst for his musical inspiration. His drumming influences include Dave Weckl, Carter Beauford, Chad Sexton, and Chad Gracey among many others. Dominick also lends his musical talents to original projects and sometimes fills in for other local acts.

Dave Anderson

Lead Guitar/ Lead & Backing Vocals

Dave started playing guitar at the early age of 8. He began his journey as a semi-professional, performing musician by actually not playing at all. A college friend sold him his first real “Les Paul” in the spring of 1991. That following fall, the same college friend hired him to road crew for his professional cover band. Dave set up and took down guitar and bass rigs, as well as PA gear, and he learned the ins and outs of live-band musical performance. After watching his college classmate successfully entertain people every night, it became Dave’s goal to do the same. Early in 1993 Dave and a few friends started their first band and played regularly in the tristate area. Dave has been singing and playing semi-professionally since. Dave’s regular weapon of choice is a 93’ Les Paul Studio. One of the greatest thrills in playing live music is being the reason for people to have a fantastically, memorable time. Smashing Pumpkins to name a few. Vic has been playing acoustic guitar and performing solo for the better part of 40 years. Besides keeping busy with MLC, he performs solo for church, charitable events and fundraisers.
